چکیده
In this article, the stress/stress sensing capability of FeSiB thin films is demonstrated and discussed. The relies on change in permeability by application stress, compressive tensile, DC magnetic field. This susceptibility/permeability was tested exciting field (AC) being same direction with applied stress. susceptibility shown to exhibit a maximal value at given critical Moreover, amplitude position changing an external For longitudinal stress shifted toward negative values for perpendicularly, larger positive values. experimentally demonstrated, model constructed better understanding.

An Exact Solution for Classic Coupled Magneto-Thermo-Elasticity in Cylindrical Coordinates
In this paper, the classic coupled Magneto-thermo-elasticity model of hollow and solid cylinders under radial-symmetric loading condition (r, t) is considered. A full analytical and the direct method based on Fourier Hankel series and Laplace transform is used, and an exact unique solution of the classic coupled equations is presented. The thermal and mechanical boundary conditions, the body fo...
متن کاملON MAXWELL'S STRESS FUNCTIONS FOR SOLVING THREE DIMENSIONAL ELASTICITY PROBLEMS IN THE THEORY OF ELASTICITY
The governing equations of three dimensional elasticity problems include the six Beltrami-Michell stress compatibility equations, the three differential equations of equilibrium, and the six material constitutive relations; and these are usually solved subject to the boundary conditions. The system of fifteen differential equations is usually difficult to solve, and simplified methods are usual...
متن کاملThe Impact of Bending Stress on the Performance of Giant Magneto-Impedance (GMI) Magnetic Sensors
The flexibility of amorphous Giant Magneto-Impedance (GMI) micro wires makes them easy to use in several magnetic field sensing applications, such as electrical current sensing, where they need to be deformed in order to be aligned with the measured field. The present paper deals with the bending impact, as a parameter of influence of the sensor, on the GMI effect in 100 µm Co-rich amorphous wi...
متن کاملContinuous Dependence of Solutions in Magneto-elasticity Theory
We prove continuous dependence on the intensity coefficient and continuous dependence on the external data in the theory of magneto-elasticity. We do not require the Lamé coefficients to be positive. We use logarithmic convexity arguments similar to those of Ames and Straughan (1992) in classical thermoelasticity. 1. Introduction. In recent years, much attention has been directed to the knowled...
متن کاملSmart Elasto-Magneto-Electric (EME) Sensors for Stress Monitoring of Steel Cables: Design Theory and Experimental Validation
An elasto-magnetic (EM) and magneto-electric (ME) effect based elasto-magneto-electric (EME) sensor has been proposed recently by the authors for stress monitoring of steel cables with obvious superiorities over traditional elasto-magnetic sensors. For design optimization and engineering application of the EME sensor, the design theory is interpreted with a developed model taking into account t...
